Danielle DeJardin, Wisconsin-based photographer, graphic designer, marketer, social media content creator, and artist, started her career in art at a young age. She got her first camera as an eight year-old back in 2001, and received her first photography and graphic design editing software in 2004 at 11. Clearly, she has always been passionate at photography and graphic design. She spent her childhood creating art just for herself, and learning at a rapid pace, but she was able to branch out and start creating for others by the age of 14.
Her first freelance job was in 2007 designing a logo for a local charity's annual walk, and her first corporate design job followed in that same year, designing a business card and letterhead stationery template for a trucking company. She kept a relationship with this charity for over a decade, designing and photographing events for them pro bono.
The first photography job she had was in 2008 photographing the charity's annual walk that she had designed the logo for. By 2011, she was being hired for senior portraits, and weddings by 2016.
The relationship with the local charity, however, revealed Danielle's biggest passion: creating art with meaning. This started off with her taking on more charity clients, but then also evolved into her dedication to photographing wildlife and nature to preserve its beauty and share it with the world, so it's no longer taken for granted.
Danielle graduated from St. Norbert College in 2015 with a degree in art, with an emphasis in graphic design, and media communications. Already taking many photography courses throughout her life, she still craved to learn more and in 2020 she was certified as a professional photographer by the New York Institute of Photography.
Today, Danielle's passion for wildlife and nature photography remains, but she also has a lot of irons in the fire. She works full-time as a marketer/graphic designer for a local company, and freelances as a photographer, graphic designer, and social media marketer. In her spare time, she creates art and photographs our precious wildlife and nature, hoping to influence everyone to leave our planet better than they found it.
Danielle loves all aspects of art, photography, graphic design, and social media marketing. She strives to continue learning and expanding her portfolio, and is up for any job. Please contact her with your requests and for more information on rates and availability!
